Funeral services for Renate Hill 74, of Linville, LA, will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Liberty Baptist Church in Linville, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Bubba Hoggett. Interment will follow at Liberty/Linville Cemetery in Linville, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Renate was born on September 21, 1943 in Berlin, Germany and passed away on June 8, 2018 in Monroe, LA. She was retired from Century Link after serving over thirty five years. She was also a very active member of Liberty Baptist Church in Linville. Surviving is her husband of 51 years, William Billy Hill of Linville, LA; granddaughters, Shelby Evans, and Sara Hill, great-grandson, Asher M. Evans, sister, Christa Bach (Jurgen) of Germany; brother, Horst Goldbaum of Germany; sister-in-laws, Linda Hanson, Carol Nyegaard (Charles), and Pamela Phillips; brother-in-law, Tommy Hill and Randy Hill. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Hill and his wife Regina, brother-in-law, Johnny Hill, and parents Edward and Frieda Goldbaum.Pallbearers will be Robert Pace, Charlie McGraw, Allen Pilgreen, Brian Nyegaard, Tom Holbrook, and Justin Callicott.Honorary Pallbearers will be Buster Maxey and employees of Century Link.Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the church.
