Robert Stevens Dalton, Sr. “Bob”, 88, of Bossier City, LA, US Air Force Veteran, held the hand of Jesus and walked home to heaven on August 1, 2021.
He was born April 2, 1933 in Black Mountain, NC, to George M. & Louise K. Dalton. Bob married Dorena “Dena” Rose Sheets on September 28, 1957.
Bob was preceded in death by his first wife Betty; wife Dena; his parents, George and Louise; brothers, Worth and Terry; and sisters, Agnes, Thelma & Viola.
He is survived by his son Terry Worth Dalton and wife (Ida “Sissy”) of Dallas, TX, daughter, Doreen Louise Dalton Hamilton and husband (Steve) of Greeneville, TN, daughter Bonnie Jo Teer of Omaha, NE, son Robert “Bobby” Stevens Dalton, Jr. and wife (Terri) of Nevada, TX, daughter Darla Sue Dalton Cubstead and husband (Andy) of Bossier City, LA , son Flint Adam Dalton and wife (Leslie) of Rowlett, TX; & daughter Lisa Gaye Dalton Henry and husband (Tommy) of West Monroe, LA,; sister, Margie Lindsey of Asheville, NC; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, LA on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
