Mrs. Rosemary Willingham Johnson, 89, of West Monroe, and a former resident of Arlington, TX, passed away on Monday, September 3rd, 2012, in West Monroe. Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson will be announced by Moore Funeral Home, 4216 South Bowen Road, Arlington, TX with interment in the Dallas-Ft Worth National Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson was born February 2nd, 1923, in Dallas, TX. She was a homemaker and a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. A long-time member of the Lake Arlington Baptist Church in Arlington, she attended the New Chapel Hill Baptist Church in West Monroe. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Johnson, in 2004; a sister and 4 brothers. Survivors include her daughter, Patty Victor Wilkinson and husband, Doug; her son, Carl Johnson and wife, Sherry; 2 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; a sister, Margie Hobson; and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Moore Funeral Home in Arlington, TX. Local services are under the direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.

Mrs. Johnson was an amazing woman and I was priviledged to spend time with her and her daughter, Patty. As Mrs. Johnson's Social Worker with Hospice Compassus I was afforded the Blessing of serving this family. Patty, I will be in touch with you when you get back home.
