My apologies for this late remembrance as I just learned of Roy’s passing from a good friend. I will never forget Roy, his Christian demeanor, kindness, mentorship, and just being a good friend. I owe my job at Central Bank to Roy as Roy hired me to be his replacement as Chief Auditor at the bank. Roy always gave me good, sound advice through the years, for which I will always be grateful. He helped shape my career and others with his thoughtful instruction and caring. There is no doubt in my mind that we will see Roy again one day. Thank you, Roy, for all that you’ve done, and may God richly bless the Post families. So long, my brother in arms.

Nancy & Carole, be comforted in Roy’s strong faith during your time of sorrow. He had no fear of death and the dignity he faced it with is something that I will always remember. He had a “good run” as he would say pointing out how blessed he was to live such a long healthy life. In working with Roy (FDIC/Boston) I knew him not only to be a brilliant man but a person with a kind and gentle soul always so honest and ready to share his life learned wisdom. He always expressed his love of his family, his God and our country. I forever will be grateful to call him my friend and will always cherish many fond memories and the good times we shared. He was one of a kind. Until we meet again old friend, “Roll on Wagon Wheel”.Love,Mark Stahley

Roy Post was a fine man. He and I went to rehab together . I always remember he saying Roll on! He bragged about our chicken litter on his garden. He was one of a kind. Our condolences to the family. With love, Benoit , Jr and Pam Holloway
