Roy Chesney Duchesne, 69, of Farmerville, LA was born in Delhi on March 5, 1954 and passed away on September 5, 2023.

Roy was truly was one of kind and an avid outdoorsman.  He loved to hunt and fish, and he could spend hours on the lake or in the woods.  He was a die-hard Saints fan and passionately cheered them on win or lose.  However, he loved nothing more than his loving, dedicated wife, his girls, and his grandbabies.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bernard Chesney Duchesne, Sr. and Juanez Duchesne and his stepson J.R. Bailey.

He is survived by his dedicated wife of 32 years, Glenda Duchesne; daughters Cybil Danielle Edgeworth (Ashley) and Morgan Lea Burford (Chad); step daughter Pamela Kay Ford (James); brothers Bernard Duchesne, Jr. (Anita) and Charles Duchesne (Marian); stepmother Bethellyn Duchesne; stepsister Jonellyn Hebert; grandchildren Chesney Edgeworth, Blayne Burford, Peyton Burford, Parker Burford; Dylan Ford, Dalton Ford, Kyle Bailey, Hunter Bailey, Cheyenne Bailey; a host of nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

Memorial service for Roy Duchesne will be held Friday, September 8, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. under the care and direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
