Ruby Lee Burch Lester Roberts, 83, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Oct. 30, 2012. Funeral services will be Saturday, Nov. 3rd, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe. Brother Billy Brown of North Pointe UPC and Rev. Lionel Crowell will be officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mrs. Roberts was born on Sept. 21, 1929. She was a homemaker and a member of Ridge Avenue Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Alfred Lester and Jesse Roberts Sr., her parents George and Nettie Burch, son Rick Lester and sisters, Perlie Mae, Wanda and Velda. She is survived by her son James David Lester and wife Linda of West Monroe, daughter Cheryl Arnold and husband Danny of West Monroe; stepchildren, Jesse Roberts and Judy Mobley, grandchildren Tricia, Nicole, Felicia, Savannah, Brianna, Karl, Danielle, Jessica, Christina, Tiffany, Jesse III, Jason, Jeremy and Jamie; 31 great-grandchildren; brothers; Joe Burch, Bobby Burch, Willie Burch, Ronny Burch and sister, Katie Raymond and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Ellis Auttonberry, Raymond Foy, Samuel Coon, Joe Kelly, Tommy James Rhodes and Alan Bohannon. Visitation will be held Friday Nov. 2, 2012 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe.
