Ruby was a Lovely Christian Lady. She blessed many with her testimony and talents. I opened the paper Monday afternoon and saw where she had passed away. I wanted to tell you I am so sorry I missed being there. All of you will be in my thoughts and prayers. May GOD Bless you and give you piece and comfort.

Extending my condolences to the family. We are saddened when a loved one falls asleep in death. However, please be comforted that the Bible gives us a basis for hope that our loved one will live again (Isaiah 29:19). Yes, God promises that those powerless in death will be brought back to life. May the hope of the resurrection help to soften your pain at this time. God promises of hope offers this encouragement at Revelation 21:3-4; where it says that death, mourning and pain will pass away. We long for that time when God's will is being done on earth as in heaven and we will experience the fullness of John 3:16 - everlasting life. I have been encouraged by these scriptural thoughts and I hope you will also. Hope and encouragement is just what we would expect from our loving heavenly Father who is familiar with the pain you are feeling for your loss because he cares for you.
