Funeral services for Ruth Beatrice Welsh Mullins, age 66, of Simsboro, LA will be 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Ruston. Officiating the service will be Rev. Mike Gonzales. Interment will follow in Colvin Memorial Cemetery, Unionville, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston. Mrs. Mullins was born on January 27, 1946 in Newport, AR and died Sunday, September 2, 2012 in Simsboro, LA. She was a loving wife and mother. Mrs. Mullins is preceded in death by her son, Kirk Mullins. She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Bob Mullins of Simsboro, LA; sons, Robert W. Mullins, Tony Mullins, Steve Mullins, all of Simsboro, LA; grandchildren, Heath, Mark, and Amanda Mullins, Travis Kirk Miller, Madison Michelle James; two great grandchildren; sister, Thelma Gonzales of Lepanto, AR; brother, Robert Welsh of Jackson Port, AR; sister-in-law, Mona Welsh, Hebert Springs, AR; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Cooper, Bill Crowe, Chuck Brantley, Joedy Best, Mike Gonzales, and Stan Stiglets. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 P.M.
