Stan Wall was born August 31, 1926 and passed away May 25, 2020.
Stan loved gardening and was a witty man with a great sense of humor. He brought much joy to his friends and family. He was lovingly known as Paw Paw to his grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He and Louise Wall were married for 69 years. Stan was very civic and community minded; he served during World War II in both the Navy and Marines. He hosted a talk show “Off the Wall with Stan Wall” and was known as the “Book Fair” Man. Stan was a member of the Masons, Toastmaster Club, Optimist Club and Kiwanis Club. He volunteered in the Glenwood Auxillary and was a one time member of Ouachita Parish School Board. He loved LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints Football. Stan was preceded in death by his wife Hilda Louise Wall; son Larry Dane Wall; a grandson Larry Lane Wall; daughter Darlene Kay Barnes.
Stan is survived by his sons Stan Wall Jr. and wife Karen, Barry Wall and wife Sharon, Doug Wall and wife Kerri; 16 grandchildren Dusty Barnes and wife Brittany, Derek Barnes and wife Donielle, Daniel Barnes, Meredith and husband Ryan Pilcher, Shane Wall, Brandon Wall and wife Sonja, Joseph Wall and wife Rachel, Matthew Scott Wall, Lance Wall, Chelsie and husband Brad Oellermann, Ross Wall, Amanda Hinshaw, Natalie Fowlkes, Robbie Riehn, Jennifer Riehn, Cherilynn Willis, and Kris Tanner and 19 great-grandchildren.
