Tanya was born March 10, 1960 in Monroe, LA and passed away November 30, 2018 in Longview, Texas after a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert E. Dumas and Nevesa Downs Dumas. Tanya was a Social Worker for Child Protective Services for the State of Texas and graduated with a Master’s Degree from Stephen F. Austin University. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Marshall, TX.

Tanya is survived by a brother, Terry Dumas and wife Anne; sisters, Pam Bacon and husband Max and Becky Marshall and husband Lamar; nieces and nephews, Leslie Bauman and husband Cody, Daniel Dumas and wife Maddie, Kate Concelli and husband Matt, Morgan Bacon, Matthew Bacon, Mitchell Bacon and Caroline Marshall; her special friend, Mike Alexander; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
