Mrs. Gates was an enthusiastic, skilled teacher; and I enjoyed so much the two years that I was in her Spanish classes. Her vibrant personality and warm heart made her a favorite of so many students. When a former student (1966 and 1967) remembers someone as fondly as I do Mrs. Gates, you know that she was a joy to be with. Prayers for her family.
