I cherish my memories of being in Troop 19 with Mr. Colvin as our scout master. His great leadership led me to attain the rank of Eagle scout and to have both sons become Eagle scouts. Over the years I have realized how much of a sacrifice of his time he gave to be a scout master. He will truly be missed.
My heart goes out to each of you at the loss of your sweet husband and dad. I hold such loving memories of our times together on West 8th Street. We will always be "family" regardless of the time we are apart. We all love you and pray that God will comfort you! Odessa, Harry, Denny, Tracy, Barbara
To Jean and Sally: I am so sorry for you loss of this special man/father/husband and humanitiarian. I always loved it when he came out to watch us ride, and whether we had made Progress or not, he gave us encouragement, asked us was it the best we could do, and then "suggested" we move on to the "next level. I wish I could be there in person at the services, but I know there are many many folks that will lift you up while you are sad & hurting. He is in a better place, and I am sure my mom is happy he is there. Just know Leigh Ann & I love you all very much. Sally, next time I get to Stamford, we will do our best to see each oter an meet your family, which I know was special to your dad. In his love, Melanie Buller 3411 Austin St Gainesvlle, TX 76240 PH: 901-356-1811/cell
Our deepest sympathy. Love you all.
Though I never met this gentleman, I do know that it takes a great man to raise great children. I appreciate the service given to this great country. It is because of men like these that we can have peace and security in our homes. Cathy and family, May God comfort your hearts throughout this difficult time and give you grace as you face the future.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
Our prayers are with you all. I have many fond memories of Mr.Bill when I was a child. My father was pastor at Mineral Springs Baptist Church. I always enjoyed going with him to visit Mr. Bill and Mrs. Mary.

Our prayers and thoughts are with all of the Colvin family during this time of your loss of a fine husband, father, grandfather and friend. Many memories of him from Immanuel in El Dorado. Love to you all. Tom and Linda Reames.
Joy and I send our love and prayers to you guys. I have many memories of Mr. Colvin when he was our leader in scouts. Going on the many camping, hiking, and working events. Even remember that he always had to make sure he had his first aid kit, as it wasn't if Jack would need it; but when! What a wonderful friend and leader who lead me not only in scouts, but also in church. What a friend that we'll miss, but find peace in knowing that we'll see him again in our Heavenly Home!
My thoughts and prayers are with each of you and your families during this time.
We are thinking of all of the family and pray for God's peace for you. Bill is in a better place. Lots of fond memories of the Colvins.
